Book Display on Third Floor

Book Display on Third Floor

Article Body

Spring is the best time of the year in Texas, as far as I'm concerned. Hasn't it been nice to get outside and see the trees and flowers in bloom? Did you know that you can keep plants alive in the house, on a patio, or growing in your yard? Wouldn't it be nice to have some help with your plan?

Gayla Cloud has created a display of gardening and landscaping books available in our library. The books range from studies of ancient gardens, to historical gardens, to present day gardens. You can choose books that will help you bring birds and butterflies into your yard as well as care recommended for house plants. Of course, included is information for all the plants you may choose.

Come by the third floor elevators to check out the books. Gayla has also created a handout listing some of the more popular books you may be interested in using. Those not marked as REF can be checked out and taken home.

Now that the Spring semester is almost over, check out a book that will help you get your hands into the dirt and watch a whole new world open up before your eyes.

The display was organized by Gayla Cloud, Adjunct Librarian.
