Exams available: Spanish (S-CAPE) & French (F-CAPE)
Students may request a foreign language testing/placement (S-CAPE or F-CAPE) from the instructor or visit the foreign language department for a referral form. The foreign language department is located in the Academic building, room 221. Report to the Assessment Center (A-102) to take the test with a photo I.D. Please allow 30 minutes to an hour for testing. Upon completion, please report back to the foreign language department for interpretation and placement.
Credit will not be granted until student completes the level he/she was placed at with a passing grade. The student must then request a PLA (Prior Learning Assessment) form to be completed by the instructor. The instructor will submit the form for approval.
